The Berlin Gemäldegalerie houses an internationally outstanding collection of early Netherlandish and French paintings. Until now, however, there has been no scholarly catalogue of these works. Those who wished to study them had to rely on monographic publications or the rather brief entries in the 1978 Catalogue of the Gemäldegalerie. In 2024, a scholarly catalogue was published on the works of artists who began their careers in or before 1480.
The volume is officially presented on 20 March 2025 at 19:00 in the Kulturforum.
