Kulturstiftung Dessau-Wörlitz Seeks Director

The Kulturstiftung Dessau-Wörlitz in Dessau-Roßlau has a vacancy for the position of Executive Director of the Foundation as of 1 February 2022.

The Kulturstiftung Dessau-Wörlitz is a foundation under public law, initially established in 1918 by the House of Anhalt as the Joachim Ernst Foundation. With the preservation, maintenance, restoration and development of the listed historical cultural landscape of the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz, it pursues exclusively non-profit purposes with the status of a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Among the palaces and parks administered by the Kulturstiftung Dessau-Wörlitz are several locations with significant collections of Dutch and Flemish art, including the famous Wörlitz Park where Schloss Wörlitz and the Gotisches Haus are situated. The Dutch baroque Oranienbaum Palace as well as Mosigkau Palace with its Rococo gardens are both located at a few kilometers distance from Wörlitz Park.
