The Ashmolean Museum (University of Oxford) is recruiting a Prints Cataloguing Officer. This role is a fixed-term full-time role for two years, based in the Museum’s Western Art department, and will primarily focus on the collection of portrait and topographical prints amassed by the Reverend Frederick William Hope and given to the University in 1850. These range from fifteenth-century engravings to nineteenth-century wood-engravings, and include a large number of international portraits of royalty, nobility, politicians, scientists, artists, musicians etc.
