CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

Kadi Polli leaves position as the director of the Kadriorg Art Museum in Tallinn, Estonia

As of last Friday, 1 March 2013, Kadi Polli has left her position as the director of the Kadriorg Art Museum in Tallinn, Estonia. She has served the museum since the reopening as the foreign art museum in 2000. Kadi has been a CODART member since 2001.

Under her directorate, the Kadriorg Art Museum has organized many exhibitions, many of them on Dutch and Flemish Art. Catalogues on the collection are written and an annual Spring conference at the museum has been established.

In the coming years Kadi will be involved with the chair of Art History at the University of Tartu. She plans to work on her doctoral thesis, finish the articles that were postponed during her administrative years, and to participate in various research projects that relate to 18th and 19th-century Baltic German art and art collections.

CODART would like to wish Kadi a very fruitful academical career. Thanks to her, she leaves the Kadriorg Art Museum in an excellent shape, with many great plans already coming up.
