Royal Palace in Amsterdam celebrates its 350th anniversary

Today, the Royal Palace celebrates another milestone in its history: the 350th anniversary of its inauguration as Amsterdam’s town hall.

To mark this anniversary, the Palace is holding an exhibition this summer recalling the high points of the building’s illustrious history: From Town Hall to Royal Palace: 350 years of history in Dam Square. The show is a big success and has been extended to 7 September (after earlier announcement of a closing date of 31 August).

After the exhibition, the Palace will be closed to the public for two years during renovation. If you have been postponing a planned visit to the Eighth Wonder of the World – postpone it no longer! You have until 7 September.
