Registration, fees and financial assistance

Registration

Registration starts 22 November 2005. All registration forms received before 30 November will be treated on an equal basis. The maximum number of participants is 40. If the group number is less than 30 at that date subsequent applications will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to (1) full members of CODART, (2) associate members and (3) up to 5 non-members introduced by a full member. If more than 40 members apply, priority will be given to attendees of CODART congresses. Deadline for registration is 9 January 2006. Please look carefully at the registration form. In it, we ask you to fill in your preferences for a single or double hotel room and a signature. You can send the registration by fax to +31 20 305 4500 or by e-mail to /* */> info@codart.nl. After receiving your registration form a confirmation will be send together with the invoice.

Fees

The study trip fee is 999 euros for a single room and 790 euros for a double room. Both fees include 5 nights and breakfasts in 3 hotels in Enschede, Groningen and Zwolle, documentation, excursions including guides and admissions, group bus transportation, 4 lunches, 4 dinners and various receptions. Airfare is NOT included. Should you wish to make your own arrangements for lodgings, the study trip fee is 520 euros. If you wish to extend your visit beyond the period 14-19 March, you will have to make your own arrangements for lodgings.

Financial assistance

A small number of grants is available for the study trip, to be awarded to a CODART member from Central and Eastern Europe or Latin America. Be sure your application, checked for a grant, reaches the /* */>CODART bureau by 31 December 2005.

Conditions

The grant for the visit to CODART NEGEN is subject to the following condition: we require your help in keeping our information concerning your museum and your country up to date.
We expect you to report to us ( info@codart.nl) once every half-year on the information concerning:

  • relevant exhibitions in your museum and region
  • relevant acquisitions in your museum and region
  • other developments regarding Dutch and Flemish art and its curators in your country
  • the CODART website: Is the museum list up to date? Are any curators or valuable associate members missing from our membership directory? Is the exhibition calendar from 1999 on complete?
