CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

Art-historical magazine ‘The Hoogsteder-Naumann Mercury’ digitized

Between 1985 and 1992 the galleries Hoogsteder & Hoogsteder in The Hague, and New York based Otto Naumann, published the ‘Hoogsteder-Naumann Mercury’, an art-historical magazine featuring articles on sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish paintings. As the articles still have an art-historical value, all seventy-seven have been digitized by Kunstpedia and are freely accessible to all through Kunstpedia.com.

From the Kunstpedia administration

Kunstpedia.com is a database with articles on the fine and decorative arts, with the exception of contemporary art. The aim of the knowledge base is to stimulate the interest in the fine- and applied arts in general.
