As part of her Jacoba Lugt-Klever Fellowship, Annemarie Stefes is preparing a new catalogue raisonné of the drawings of Nicolaes Berchem (1621/22–1683) and is seeking help in locating works by the artist.

Although Berchem is an important draftsman, his drawings have never been the subject of a published catalogue raisonné. Stefes’s 1997 dissertation was the first comprehensive catalogue of his drawings, but it was never published. Her Jacoba Lugt-Klever Fellowship now provides the opportunity to bring this research to publication in the form of a new, updated catalogue raisonné, incorporating drawings that have come to light since her original research.

She is seeking works that may have escaped her attention so far, particularly drawings in private or previously unpublished collections.
