Professor Eric Jan Sluijter was Visiting Professor at the Institute of Fine Arts from 2002 until 2007. In April 2011, he retires from his position as Chair of the Renaissance and Early Modern Art department at the University of Amsterdam. For this occasion he gives a Farewell lecture Saturday, 21 May 2011 at 4 pm in the Lecture Hall of The Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, 1 East 78th Street. The lecture is followed by a reception in the Loeb Room.
