A message from HNA
Proposals are sought for HNA’s sponsored session at the CAA Annual Conference to be held in Chicago February 12-15, 2014.
Please see further details below (also posted on www.hnanews.org).
As an affiliated society, HNA is entitled to submit one sponsored session proposal to the CAA selection committee. This process is coordinated by the HNA Vice-President. The session topic should represent the core interest of our membership (Northern European art ca. 1350-1750) and should highlight current issues and/or innovative research in our field. It should be specific enough to form a coherent panel, yet inclusive enough to encourage participation by HNA members with diverse research interests. (This means a theme that is not restricted to a single artist, geographical region, or chronological period.) Ideally, all participants will be members of HNA. Session chair(s) and all participants must be members of CAA, and are responsible for all costs related to participation in the conference. Sessions are scheduled for 2 and a half hours, and may include at most five speakers of 20 minutes each. Please note that CAA must approve the session.
Please send your session proposal (250 words max) and c.v. to Amy Golahny, HNA Vice-President, at: golahny@lycoming.edu by July 10, 2012.
