CODART member Kathrin Bürger has launched a website (in German) on which she has put a great amount of information on Philips Wouwerman (1619-68): www.wouwerman.de. An abundance of information about life and work of the artist can be found here. Bürger is working on her dissertation on Wouwerman.
This summer and fall, in the Schloß Wilhelmshöhe in Kassel and the Mauritshuis in The Hague, the attention will focus on Philips Wouwerman. Kathrin Bürger has written an essay about copies after and followers of the painter for the catalogue of the exhibition.
