Information from the museum, 4 September 2012

The Study Room will soon be returning to the newly renovated
Rijksmuseum. Due to preparations in connection with the run-up to the grand reopening on 14 April 2013, there will be a few months when the Study Room resources and facilities will not be available to visitors. The current location at Frans van Mierisstraat will close from 1 January 2013.

Availability of the collections in the current location:

-The collection of books and materials in the library will be available through Saturday, 29 December 2012.

-The collection of the Rijksprentenkabinet (drawings, prints, photographs) will be available through Saturday, 1 December 2012.

The exact date of the reopening in the new location will be made available as soon as possible via the website of the Rijksmuseum: http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/
