CODART connects approximately 650 curators from around 300 museums worldwide, all focused on art from the Low Countries from before 1750. While every museum with a significant collection in this field is listed on the CODART website, institutional membership offers benefits and plays a vital role in supporting this international network.

Why become an institutional member?

By becoming a CODART Institutional Member, your museum provides crucial financial support to the international network of curators and signals strong endorsement of our activities to governing bodies. In return, your institution enjoys several benefits:

• Institutional Members are highlighted on our website, as well as in our printed publications.
• CODART Members and Associate Members in your institution are exempt from individual membership fees.

In addition to these are services that CODART provides for all museums with a relevant collection:

• Listing of your contact information, curators, and exhibitions on the CODART website, with a link to your museum website and profile photo.
• Possibilities to communicate news on acquisitions, exhibitions, appointments, etc., via the CODART website and email notification service.
• Possibilities for your curators to be a part of a community of approximately 650 colleagues worldwide.

Institutional membership dues

Any museum can become an Institutional Member with an annual contribution of at least €1,000. This contribution covers the annual membership fees for all CODART (Associate) Members at your museum.

We invite you to join institutions such as the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam), the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Mauritshuis (The Hague), Fondation Custodia (Paris), Patrimonio Nacional (Madrid), Musea Brugge, the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), and many others, both large and small, in becoming a CODART Institutional Member.

To apply for Institutional Membership or would like more information, please send an email to info@codart.nl. Upon receiving your invoice via email, membership dues can be transferred according to the instructions provided on our Payment page.
