Alumni membership offers a dedicated way for former members and Associate Members to remain an active part of the CODART community. This membership ensures the continuity of your public profile on the CODART website and grants access to important network events such as the opening reception of the annual CODART congress.

Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible for the CODART Alumni Membership:

• Former full members: Curators who have held full CODART membership for a minimum of five years in the past but no longer qualify for regular membership (e.g., due to retirement).
• Former associate members: Individuals who have held Associate Membership for 10 consecutive years in the past but no longer meet the criteria for Associate membership.

Benefits

• Visibility on the CODART website by reactivating or maintaining an existing profile, which is featured in a dedicated Alumni Members directory.
• Access to the annual opening reception of the CODART congress.
• Ability to register for online focus meetings.
• Ability to register for selected in-person focus meetings (at least one per year)

In addition, members are automatically signed up for these free services as well:

• Subscription to our news and exhibitions email notifications.
• Email subscription to the monthly CODARTfeatures.

Conditions applicable to alumni members

• Alumni membership is by application only. The CODART director leads the selection process based on the criteria listed above, consulting the program committee if necessary.
• If someone remains professionally active in the museum world after retirement, they may be eligible for associate membership instead.

Membership dues

The annual membership fee is € 45. All alumni members receive an invoice via email at the beginning of each year. Dues can be paid via bank transfer or online.
