The Rembrandt House Museum and the Amsterdam Museum are currently preparing an exhibition devoted to Ferdinand Bol and Govert Flinck, due to be opened in October 2017.

For this project, the organizers are looking for the whereabouts of: Ferdinand Bol, Self Portrait, ca. 1647

The painting was offered for sale at Koller’s in Zürich on May 25th and 26th 1984, no. 5059, but remained unsold. Attempts by the auction house to trace the owner have been in vain.
