CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

New CODART website launched

Last Friday 2 December, the renewed CODART website was launched in the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem. The website has been given a visual and technical upgrade, with a large number of new functions that present our information using the latest technology. The design combines a modern, user-friendly structure with CODART’s familiar appearance.

Thanks to interactive overviews with smart search functions, curators, museums, exhibitions and events can be found more easily, including on smartphones and tablets. The Curator in the spotlight is more accessible.  The information about locations has been made visual and interactive using digital maps with GPS. We also continue to offer our followers the opportunity to receive news and information about current events by e-mail through our upgraded Notification Service.

The renewed CODART.nl was presented in the Schutterszaal of the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem where for the first time ever all paintings by Hals in the collection of the museum were gathered in the same room. Preceding the launch, all guests were introduced to the exhibition Dutch Old Masters from Budapest: Highlights from the Szépmüvészeti Múzeum which is on show through 12 February 2017.
