Changes on the Board of The Friends of CODART: Manfred Sellink Appointed Chair and Martine Lambrechtsen Takes Office

During the first months of 2021, the Board of The Friends of CODART said farewell to Bob Haboldt, Titia Vellenga and Till-Holger Borchert. New members were welcomed as well: Manfred Sellink succeeds Titia as chair of the board, and the appointment of Martine Lambrechtsen follows the departure of Bob Haboldt.

Manfred Sellink is no stranger to CODART. He served on the board of CODART from 2008 to 2017 and has been an active member of CODART since 1998. Sellink was recently appointed as the new director of the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent. Previously he was director of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp and the Musea Brugge. In addition, he has been visiting professor of Arts Policy and Museum Studies at Ghent University since 2012.

Martine Lambrechtsen is an art consultant who specializes in Old Master paintings. She studied art history in Amsterdam and worked at Sotheby’s Amsterdam as Old Master paintings specialist from 2005 to 2020.

We look forward to working with Manfred and Martine the coming years.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Titia, Bob and Till for their commitment over the past years. They have been of major importance in helping the Friends of CODART Foundation grow and thrive. Titia with her professional background in public relations and her strong leadership skills, Bob with his generosity in sharing his knowledge and contacts in the field, and Till with his contacts and experience in the museum sector. We thank them and trust that they will remain part of the CODART network, as Patrons and as a member.
