We would like to draw your attention to a survey of the Historians of Netherlandish Art (HNA) about the use of inclusive language.

With a view to fostering more inclusive and equitable language in writing and teaching about Netherlandish art, the HNA is currently compiling a style guide. This is done by the IDEA committee, the Historians of Netherlandish Art subcommittee for inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility.

The committee seeks to get a sense of inclusive language efforts that fellow scholars and curators have already undertaken and to that end, it has created a survey. On behalf of HNA and their IDEA committee we kindly request you to take a few minutes to fill out the survey (by 5 June 2021).
