We are pleased to announce that the CODART 26 congress in Cologne is fully booked. From 16 to 18 March, 145 curators from twenty countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States, as well as Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Poland will come together in Cologne to meet and speak about their profession.
Congress participants will discuss the congress theme ‘Tracing Contested Histories: The Challenges and Future of Provenance Research’ during lectures and case studies, pose questions to their colleagues in the Speakers’ Corner, and have the opportunity to meet each other during the network reception and the congress dinner. Complementing the program, participants will have the opportunity to visit a variety of locations in Cologne, such as the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum’s collections and conservation studio, Museum Schnütgen, Museum Kolumba, the Cologne Cathedral’s roof, the NS Documentation Center, and an optional full-day excursion to the recently reopened Johannisburg Palace in Aschaffenburg.
We are thankful for the generosity and kind hospitality of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum & Fondation Corboud, our main partner in Cologne. We are also grateful to the Consulate-general of the Netherlands in Düsseldorf, the City of Cologne and the Friends of CODART Foundation for supporting the CODART 26 congress.
We regret to disappoint members who are interested in CODART 26 but were not able to register in time. We are looking forward to welcoming you next year. Please keep an eye on our website where the date, location and theme of CODART 27 will be announced later this year.
