Today it was announced that the Google art Project is now online. The project, a collaboration between Google and 17 of the world’s most acclaimed art museums enables visitors of the website www.googleartproject.com to virtually visit the museums galleries using Street View technology and view over 1000 art works in detail. Additional, users can create their “own” art collection by saving specific views of the art works included in the project.
The museums included in the project are:
