In the latest edition of Curator in the Spotlight, Tom van der Molen (CODART member since 2014) tells about his varied job as a curator at the Amsterdam Museum. He explains that in a municipal museum, even more than in an art museum, it is essential to view the works from different perspectives. With a few examples, Tom shows how he is challenged to explore the different meanings of the museum’s artworks.
