Earlier this month, Museum Prinsenhof Delft appointed Julia van Marissing as Assistant Curator and Het Noordbrabants Museum in ‘s-Hertogenbosch named Nadia Groeneveld-Baadj as its new Curator of Old Masters. Both curators have also been CODART staff members over the past six months.
Julia joined the CODART team in March 2021 to assist in several online projects, including the CODART Canon and the British collection descriptions. In the meantime, she continued to work part-time at Museum Prinsenhof Delft, where she has now been promoted to Assistant Curator.
As a temporary assignment, Nadia worked for CODART to explore the curatorial fellowships that are currently available to aspiring curators and to survey all CODART members about their experiences and ideas on this topic. Nadia recently finished a research project at Museum Gouda and began her new position as Curator of Old Masters at Het Noordbrabants Museum in early September. We are grateful for Nadia’s thorough investigation, the results of which will be published on the CODART website soon.
We wish both Nadia and Julia great success in their new curatorial roles and we will definitely see them again as CODART members.
