The sad news reached us that Dr. Susan Urbach passed away on 27 November 2020.

Susan Urbach (1933-2020) was the curator for Early German and Netherlandish Painting in Budapest’s Szépművészeti Múzeum since the late 60s and a member of CODART since 1998. After her retirement, Urbach continued her involvement with the Budapest collection and published the outstanding catalogue Early Netherlandish Painting in Budapest I & II in 2015.
