Anne van Grevenstein stipend has been created on the occasion of her retirement as professor

On the occasion of her retirement, professor Anne van Grevenstein wants to forfill an old wish: a stipend for students who want to study restoration.

At the end of this year Professor Anne van Grevenstein will retire as professor of the practice of conservation and restoration at the University of Amsterdam, with a symposium. The retirement is also the occasion to create a stipend to allow students to study restoration. Those students are enthusiastic, talented and ambitious, but are often not eligible for the regular forms of scholarships, because of long preliminary study routes. The stipend aims to support these students, highly motivated and talented persons that aim to learn the profession of restorer and are willing to devote themselves to the restoration of historical interiors.

Please see this letter (pdf, in Dutch) announcing the stipend for more information.

The stipendium will be part of Stichting het Interieurfonds
