The CODART congresses are international gatherings at which knowledge and expertise are exchanged at various levels, both formally and informally. CODART’s strength resides in the spontaneity of this interaction. Our members give generously of their expertise because they know that the information they share will be treated confidentially. We therefore rely on our Patrons’ discretion and ask them to agree with the terms set out in our Code of Conduct before registration. Download the Code of Conduct (PDF file opens in new tab).

Ghent is easily accessible by international train. Frequent Eurostar high-speed services run to Brussels-Midi/Zuid, from cities like Amsterdam, Paris and Cologne. From Brussels-Midi, numerous intercity trains take you directly to Ghent-Sint-Pieters in 30 to 40 minutes. Timetables, prices and more information can be found on the website of Eurostar and the NMBS (Nationale Maatschappij der Belgische Spoorwegen).
Brussels Airport (BRU) and Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL) are the two airports closest to Ghent. Trains run directly from Brussels Airport to Ghent-Sint-Pieters.
For those travelling to Ghent by car, please note that the entire city center is a permanent Low Emission Zone. Foreign vehicles must register beforehand, even if compliant, to avoid fines. Detailed information and registration links are available here.
See all congress locations on this Google Map.
Both congress hotels are located approximately a thirty-minute walk from the MSK (our main location on Monday) and a twenty-minute walk from the STAM (our Tuesday location). Both locations can also be reached by public transport. Ghent’s public transport network is operated by De Lijn. Consult the website or app for detailed timetables, diverse ticket options, and prices.
To use public transport in Ghent, simply hold your contactless means of payment (debit or credit card or smartphone) in front of the white terminal. Transfer is possible within 60 minutes by holding the same means of payment in front of the terminal again.
Further travel information will also be provided in the congress folder handed out during the opening reception.
