Registration

Please look carefully at the choices on the registration form. We ask you to fill in your preferences for the workshops and excursions; there are a limited number of places available. Registrations will be handled in the order in which they are received. After receiving your registration form a confirmation will be send together with the invoice.

The congress fee is 100 euros. The fee includes different excursions on Sunday and Tuesday, visits to different museums and their collections, congress documentation, congress dinner on Monday, two receptions and one lunch. To qualify for the early registration rate of 100 euros, we must receive your form before 31 January 2008. Registration after 31 January is 110 euros, on site 120 euros.

Accomodation

The Ibis Gent Centrum Opera hotel is located in the historic city centre of Ghent, within the immediate proximity of the historical monuments of the city (opera house, museum, abbey). The hotel has 134 rooms with Wifi Internet access, a bar open 24/24 and covered pay parking are at your disposal.

Bookings will be made by CODART for two nights. If you wish to extend your visit beyond the period 9-11 March, you will have to make your own arrangements for accommodation. Please note: participants will pay hotel bills individually on checking out. There is a choice on the registration form of a single room at 75 euros per night or a double room at 37,50 euros per night per person. A buffet breakfast is optional at an additional 12 euros per person per day.

Registration is closed.

A limited number of grants is available for travel to and participation in the congress, for CODART members from Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America. Be sure your application, checked for a grant, reaches the CODART congress bureau by 5 December 2007. If you are (not) selected you will be notified by e-mail before January 15, 2008.

Please note: our ability to assist as many colleagues as possible, will depend on your ability to pay part of the expenses yourself, by raising money in your own institution or country. All contributions will be very welcome.
