Registration, accomodation and financial assistance
Registration
Please look carefully at the choices on the registration form. We ask you to fill in your preferences for the workshops and excursions; there are a limited number of places available. Registrations will be handled in the order in which they are received. After receiving your registration form a confirmation will be send together with the invoice.
The congress fee is 100 euros. The fee includes different excursions on Sunday and Tuesday, visits to different museums and their collections, congress documentation, congress dinner on Sunday, two receptions and one lunch. To qualify for the early registration rate of 100 euros, we must receive your form before 31 January 2007. Registration after 31 January is 110 euros, on site 120 euros.
The congress fee can be paid on our bank account, or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)/PayPal via our website. If this is impractical for you, you may pay cash upon registration.

Accommodation
Paris has the widest choice of hotels in the world with a full range of prices, offering something for everyone so we trust you will be able to make your own arrangements for lodgings. We advice you to book early!
If you find it hard to decide or if you don’t have an idea where to start looking for a hotel, CODART will suggest you some hotels in different areas and with different prices. Please note that some hotels are not nearby the congress area.

Information
This basic IBIS Hotel is near to the train station Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord. The CODART committee will stay here during the congress! For the people who come to the congress and will participate to the study trip as well, it is interesting to know that the first night of the study trip (13-14 March 2007) will be in this hotel. For practical reasons we can imagine that it will be convenient for you to stay here during the congress too.

- During weekdays a single room costs € 95,00 (incl. breakfast, excl. VAT) per night
- During the weekend a single room costs € 84,00 (incl. breakfast, excl. VAT) per night
Double room:
- During weekdays a double room costs € 102,00 (incl. breakfast, excl. VAT) per night
- During the weekend a single room costs € 90,00 (incl. breakfast, excl. VAT) per night
The prices of other IBIS Hotels we suggest, will be equal or with a little difference to the prices per night of the IBIS Paris Gare de l’Est hotel. Please note that these IBIS Hotels or not nearby the congress area, they are situated in the area Montmartre, but there is an excellent subway system in Paris which will take you there in no-time.

Financial assistance
A limited number of grants is available for travel to and participation in the congress, for CODART members from Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America. Be sure your application, checked for a grant, reaches the /* */>CODART congress bureau by 31 December 2006. If you are (not) selected you will be notified in the second week of January 2007.
Please note: our ability to assist as many colleagues as possible, will depend on your ability to pay part of the expenses yourself, by raising money in your own institution or country. All contributions will be very welcome.
