CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

New Curator in the Spotlight: Olga Kotková

To celebrate our 25th anniversary, this year the Curator in the Spotlight section will feature members that have been involved with CODART since the very beginning.

In the first edition, Olga Kotková recounts how her career at the National Gallery Prague began over 30 years ago with an internship and how her love for Netherlandish art was sparked after seeing a small panel by a follower of Bouts at her very first exhibition. Olga also looks back fondly on her first CODART experience and clearly remembers how she and her colleague accepted the invitation to the first CODART meeting in 1998 without hesitation.

Olga Kotková is Director of the Collection of Old Masters at the National Gallery Prague. She has been a member of CODART since 1998.

Curator in the Spotlight

The Curator in the Spotlight is a special feature on the CODART website that introduces one of CODART’s members and their work as a curator of Dutch and Flemish art. Every time a different curator writes about their work, projects and exhibitions, and a piece in their collection that is special to them. Recent curators in the spotlight included Cécile Tainturier, Nico Van Hout, Betsy Wieseman and Yuri van der Linden.
