In the latest edition of Curator in the Spotlight, Yuri van der Linden explains how he arrived at his current position at the Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency and tells us more about the history and purpose of this organization. He highlights several interesting objects from the State Collection that found new homes, and announces a new challenging project starting this spring.
Yuri van der Linden is Curator of Pre-Modern Applied Arts at the Cultural Heritage Agency in Amersfoort. He has been a member of CODART since 2016.
Curator in the Spotlight
The Curator in the Spotlight is a special feature on the CODART website that introduces one of CODART’s members and their work as a curator of Dutch and Flemish art. Every time a different curator writes about their work, projects and exhibitions, and a piece in their collection that is special to them. Recent curators in the spotlight included Hildegard van de Velde, Femke Diercks, Justus Lange and Diva Zumaya.
Are you a curator of Dutch and Flemish art and a member of CODART and would you like to present your work and your favorite piece in the collection to an international audience, then send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org.
