The annual reports of CODART and the Friends of CODART Foundation for the year 2025 have been published.
In 2025, CODART organized a wide range of international activities for its members, both online and on-site, while continuing to share valuable information with a broad audience through its website and social media channels. One of the year’s highlights was the fully booked annual congress in Cologne, which focused on provenance research. Equally groundbreaking was the first CODARTfocus in the United States (Washington & Baltimore), through which the organization strengthened its ties with its second-largest membership group. Alongside these in-person gatherings, CODART’s digital presence continued to grow. The website reached a record average of 1,111 daily visits, and the ambitious project to provide collection descriptions for all museum pages is well on track, with 512 texts completed.
The Friends of CODART Foundation organized its annual activities for Friends, including the Friends Afternoon at the BRAFA Art Fair, the Patrons Salon at TEFAF Maastricht, and a Friends gathering at PAN Amsterdam. Additionally, new Donors and Patrons were recruited, and the annual newsletter was distributed in the summer. In line with the 2025–2028 policy plan, work progressed on establishing a Curators Stipend in collaboration with the King Baudouin Foundation in Belgium, which is set to launch in 2026. Furthermore, a survey was conducted to gather feedback from Friends regarding their experiences and preferences as Friends of CODART.
Both the annual report of CODART and the annual report of the Friends of CODART Foundation are available (in Dutch) on the CODART website.
