CODART, Dutch and Flemish art in museums worldwide

Excursions

During CODART 23 in The Netherlands we will offer a wide variety of excursions on all congress days.

Sunday

On Sunday 29 May we have scheduled an optional excursion in the afternoon, to the newly refurbished and then recently reopened Paleis Het Loo (Het Loo Palace) in Apeldoorn.

Monday and Tuesday

We offer a program of excursions and study visits on Monday as well as on Tuesday afternoon. The excursions will take place in and around The Hague, but will also take you to other locations in the Netherlands. The focus will be mainly on seeing art in situ, but we have also added a few other options to the program for you to visit. On Monday 30 May the Royal Collections in The Hague offers CODART members the exceptional opportunity to visit the Oranjezaal in Huis ten Bosch, currently the residence of the Royal family of the Netherlands. Please find more information about this and other visits on Monday here. On Tuesday 31 May there will be six different excursions to choose from. Please find more information here.

Optional program on Wednesday

On Wednesday 1 June we offer an optional excursion to the eastern part of the Netherlands where we will be guests in two historical houses, including one that is rarely open to the public. For this optional visit we charge a separate fee. The excursion includes a guided tour, coffee and tea, lunch and travel by coach.
