Digitization: blessing or burden?

From 30 May-1 June 2010, CODART will hold the CODART DERTIEN congress in Rotterdam, in cooperation with the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. The congress will be chaired by Amy Walsh, curator of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. This year’s congress will focus on the impact, opportunities and problems of digitization in the curatorial profession. During the opening session lectures, the panel discussion and the Market of ideas session, this theme will be addressed from many angles. Other highlights of the program include in depth excursions to collections in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Maritiem Museum Rotterdam, Atlas van Stolk and the Stedelijk Museum Het Prinsenhof in Delft, as well as vists to the storages of the Dordrechts Museum and Historisch Museum.
