Please look carefully at the choices on the registration form and fill in all applicable spaces. We ask you to fill in your preferences for the market of ideas session and the excursions; please remember that spaces are limited and requests are treated on a first-come, first-serve basis. After receiving your registration form, a confirmation will be sent by email. In the confirmation email participants will receive an invoice to pay the congress fee.
The congress fee is 375 euros. The fee includes entrance to all museums and institutions visited during the congress, the congress dinner, coffee and tea, two lunches and the opening reception. To qualify for the early registration rate of 375 euros, we must receive your registration form on or before 19 January 2012. Registration after 19 January 2012 is 425 euros.

We try our best every year to find funding so that a (limited) number of congress grants can be made available for CODART members from Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Latin America.
To apply for a grant check the box on the registration form and enclose a motivation letter, in which you explain why attending the congress is important for your work. Your application will be reviewed by our selection committee, so make sure to enclose the motivation letter (200-600 words). As each year, the selection committee will consider funding which you are able to raise in your own institution to help with the costs of participating in the congress. Please let us know if you will be able to cover any parts of the costs yourself. Send the registration form and motivation letter to the CODART bureau before 8 December 2011. Applications sent after this date will not be taken into consideration.
Depending on our success in securing funds and on the outcome of the selection committee, we will inform you before the end of January 2012 if you have been selected for a grant or not.
Please note that per museum a maximum of three grants will be dispensed.
The hotel is fully booked. You cannot make a reservation for the congress hotel anymore and it is also not possible to book extra nights. For those of you who were able to book a room in the congress hotel, please check our hotel rooming list here and let us know when your booking is incorrect.
Our congress hotel is the Aqua Hotel (Rue de Stassart 43; near metro station Naamsepoort/Porte de Namur) in Brussels. It is located near the historical centre in the chique Louise/ Toison d’Or area. The hotel is a new and very comfortable hotel that amongst many facilities offers free internet connection.
Parking near the hotel: There is public parking near the hotel called “Parking de la Toison d’Or”. This parking lot has 325 spaces and the fare is around € 15,- per 24 hours. The entrance is located on Avenue de la Toison d’Or (Guldenvlieslaan). There is a short cut going back to the hotel after you have parked your car, just take the elevator and press “0” and this elevator will lead you back a few meters away from the hotels main door.

For congress participants who book both nights (18 and 19 March) the rates are as follows:
single room: € 100 per night
double room: € 115 per night for two persons
Please note that the Aqua Hotel offers different rates for the weekend and for weekdays. If you would like to book an extra night or just one night instead of two, please contact the CODART bureau for more information on the exact costs.
A limited number of rooms are available, so please register early. Congress participants will pay hotel bills individually at check out. If hotel rooms are cancelled after 15 February 2012, the hotel may charge you for (a part of) the costs.
